Muziek geïnspireerd door rockbands uit de 80'er en 90'er jaren, nu metal en progmetal van recenter datum en bluesrock waarbij ballads ook niet wordt geschuwd. Dat alles zonder zang, we laten de instrumenten spreken.

 

Jacarule is ontstaan uit een initiatief van de drie gitaristen Jan, Carlo en Ruud. Allen zochten een uitlaatklep voor hun passie. Een succesvolle blind date leerde dat alle muzikale stukjes verrassend goed in elkaar pasten. Er werd een drummer aangetrokken en begin 2009 is de band geboren.

Bij gebrek aan een geschikte zanger is begonnen met instrumentaal werk. Gaandeweg werd duidelijk dat juist deze aanpak maximale ruimte geeft aan de instrumenten en zo is het unieke Jacarule geluid ontstaan.

 

Het kenmerk van Jacarule is dat de gitaristen afwisselend de lead partijen spelen. Beiden hebben hun eigen specifieke stijl en duels worden niet uit de weg gegaan.

 

Sinds 2010 is Jacarule op podia te vinden waarbij optredens op Cumel 2010, POBparade Breda 2011 en het Popelucht 2011 openlucht festival belangrijke wapenfeiten zijn.

 

Jacarule speelt een mix van eigen nummers en eigen bewerkingen van bestaande nummers die anders niet de aandacht krijgen die ze verdienen. Hoewel ook bekendere nummers worden gespeeld beoogt Jacarule geen coverband te zijn.

 

We tonen graag aan dat goede muziek ook zonder zang verrassend, onderhoudend en spannend kan zijn. De missie van Jacarule is het maken van goede muziek die we graag met vele muziekliefhebbers willen delen.

Jacarule means timeless instru-metal music build on the massive sound of dueling rock guitars.

Music inspired by rockbands of the 80's and 90's, nu metal and prog metal from a more recent period as well as blues rock and every now and then a ballad. Very important, the instruments do the talking, we have no singer.

Jacarule is an initiative of the three guitar players Jan, Carlo and Ruud. They were all looking for a way to reach their personal musical objectives and share their passion. A blind date learned that all parts of the musical puzzle were fitting surprisingly well together. After they added a drummer, the band was born early 2009.

No band member has singing capacities so we started with instrumental music. As time went by it became clear that this approach creates maximum room for the instruments and this is how the typical Jacarule sound started to grow to what it is today.

Main feature of the sound of Jacarule is that both guitarists take the lead. Each has his own style and they are not afraid for a duel.

Jacarule plays live on stage since 2010. Examples of our shows are the Cumel 2010 festival, POBparade Breda 2011 and the Popelucht 2011 open air festival.

Jacarule's set list shows a mix of own material and our interpretations of existing songs that we give the attention that they deserve. Although we play well known songs too we consider ourselves not being a cover band.

We would like to show that good music does not need text in order to be surprizing, interesting and exciting.

The mission of Jacarule is to play good music and to share our enthusiasm with our audience.
